Description
They’re designed to last longer, won’t wane or drain and are free of the memory effect that prevents older batteries from regaining a full charge later in life. They’ll certainly save you money in the long run, as you use them over and over and over, on multiple tools, for years to come.
Why Are Cordless Tools Better Tools?
Some tools are just made to be cordless. Hedge trimmers and leaf blowers should be able to roam free without getting snagged on a cord. It’s been obvious for years now that drills should never have a cord attached. Battery-powered tools are also much more cost-effective than gas-powered versions, and our 40V Power Share tools provide gas-like power without all the drawbacks of gasoline. (This 20V battery powers our 40V tools, too, you just need to use two of them.) Say goodbye to the days of paying at the pump just to power your mower or leaf blower, and then filling the whole neighborhood with fumes when you get back home.
How Long Does a Charge Last?
It depends on the tool and how hard you’re using it. But for reference, when it comes to our Worx GT String Trimmer/Edger/Mini-Mower, one of these 2.0Ah 20V Max Lithium batteries will provide enough charge to trim an average ¼ acre lawn. It’s suggested for use with the WA3742 charger, or WA3868 quick charger, or the dual-port charger WA3875, or the quick dual-port charger WA3878. Whether just starting a tool collection, or you’ve been a Power Share fan for a while and this is just an extra battery, the Worx 20V 2.0Ah Max Lithium-Ion battery is the base for the most functional, flexible, and cost-effective tool platform out there—even if we do say so ourselves.
